Funded by the Scottish Government Ecosystem Fund, administered by Inspirent, the aim of the new GrowBiz programme is to give participants the confidence, skills and support to build a business that works for them, whatever that looks like.
Following 14 years at the helm, Jackie Brierton MBE has announced her retirement from GrowBiz, Scotland’s rural enterprise agency. From July 2025, GrowBiz will be led by a shared CEO partnership with the current Co-CEO, Gordon Hector, being joined by Alexia McClure.
Scottish EDGE is set to provide more opportunities for entrepreneurs living outside the central belt thanks to a new programme backed by £400,000 of Scottish Government funding. In Perth & Kinross, the initiative will be delivered by GrowBiz.
