Highlights from the 2026 Regional EDGE Tayside Finals

March saw the Regional EDGE Tayside live pitching final and awards ceremony, which took place at the iconic V&A Museum in Dundee.

The 10 ambitious finalists all did a great job pitching to the panel of judges, Anne Muir, Director of Portfolio at Eos Advisory, David Tuck, CEO at Waracle, Fiona Marshall, Director at Klarean Limited, and John Laurie, Managing Director at The Glenturret.

Many congratulations to the 5 winning businesses:

  • Arngask Home Farm (£15k)

  • Intercue (£10k)

  • Sea Dyes (£10k)

  • The Tuskers (£15k)

  • Umbra Dynamics (£50k)

Umbra Dynamics will now go on to pitch for the Winner of Winners Award for an additional £50k.

The event included hearing from two fantastic guest speakers. Chris van der Kuyl, Chairman of 4J Studios and Advisory Board Member of Scottish EDGE, delivered a humorous and inspiring keynote to entrepreneurs about the importance of belief and an "of course we can" attitude. Andrew Vincent, CEO of QUICKBLOCK, a Scottish EDGE winner, talked about using an EDGE win as leverage to get to the next stage of your business, and an EDGE loss as fuel to keep going.

Huge thanks to our event partners, Scottish EDGE, Elevator and Perth & Kinross Council, and everyone at the V&A who helped make it such a great venue.
