Macnaughtons of Pitlochry is a family-run shop dating back to 1835. With a long and busy tourism season, selling online was never a priority, until Covid-19 forced the shop to close. Jenna McDonald is a jewellery designer based in the Perth Creative Exchange run by WASPS. Jenna creates contemporary jewellery for galleries and offers regular jewellery making workshops, sharing her knowledge of her craft with students of all ages from her bright and airy new studio space. Rural Perthshire-based Molke manufactures and supplies positive pants and confidence-boosting bras to women all over the world and of all ages and body types, using ethically produced materials. Molke underwear is designed to make women feel empowered, strong and free from the constraints that come with the stereotypical and limiting underwear that is available on the high street. Husband and wife team Nathan and Abigail Shepherd run The Perthshire Magazine,
a monthly digital publication featuring local businesses and events. Based in Kindallachan in Highland Perthshire,
in just two years the pair have built up a readership of some 30,000 people

Dee Barron runs The Natural Clinic in Crieff, a wellbeing centre that offers a broad range of complementary therapies provided by a team of experienced practitioners. Some of the treatments and therapies available at the clinic include osteopathy, massage, homoeopathy, life coaching, modern stress management, facials, craniosacral therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy and counselling and psychotherapy. Kaja Ekiert
Pitlochry-based Kaja Ekiert runs Handam Refill Station, a zero waste store that offers affordable refills of dry foods and household liquids and reusable products all of which reduce waste. She first contacted GrowBiz in the summer of 2018 looking for advice on a business plan and setting up a zero waste shop in Highland Perthshire. Sholach Trees
Family-run business Sholach Farm on the outskirts of Blairgowrie offers locally-grown Christmas trees.
The McIntyre family have farmed at Wester Essendy for around 100 years. Originally raspberry growers, Willie’s father, Willie Snr, first diversified into growing Christmas trees for wholesale customers back in 1992.

Zoe Garvie from Kinross is a science outreach educator who teaches the subject in a fun way. Through working in schools and providing workshops for events, Zoe’s vision is to enthuse youngsters between the ages of three and twelve years-old with an interest in – and a love for - STEM subjects.

Ecocamp Glenshee
Ecocamp Glenshee was one of the first environmentally-conscious camping pods sites in the area. Run by husband and wife team Simon and Fiona Calvin it is situated in an idyllic rural location on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park and just a few minutes away from the Glenshee Ski Centre.

Richard Cross is a web designer and developer as well as a photographer and certified drone pilot based in Stanley. He has run his own business for nearly 20 years and recently moved from Edinburgh to rural Perthshire, getting in touch with GrowBiz after finding out about the community-based enterprise support organisation on social media.
