East Perthshire-based Pete Richardson set up First Aid Perthshire in the summer of 2016 after a 30-year career in the hospitality industry.

 

The company offers first aid services to events as well as a wide selection of first aid at work training courses for all businesses.

Kaja Ekiert

Pitlochry-based Kaja Ekiert runs Handam Refill Station, a zero waste store that offers affordable refills of dry foods and household liquids and reusable products all of which reduce waste. She first contacted GrowBiz in the summer of 2018 looking for advice on a business plan and setting up a zero waste shop in Highland Perthshire. Ecocamp Glenshee

Ecocamp Glenshee was one of the first environmentally-conscious camping pods sites in the area. Run by husband and wife team Simon and Fiona Calvin it is situated in an idyllic rural location on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park and just a few minutes away from the Glenshee Ski Centre.

Richard Cross

Richard Cross is a web designer and developer as well as a photographer and certified drone pilot based in Stanley. He has run his own business for nearly 20 years and recently moved from Edinburgh to rural Perthshire, getting in touch with GrowBiz after finding out about the community-based enterprise support organisation on social media.

9 years ago, Clare Pinchbeck opened Hettie’s Tearoom in Pitlochry. Named after her daughter Henrietta, it has since expanded to include an online tea shop and a bakery/takeaway in Dunkeld.
