Women's Enterprise Networking Summer Event - Perthshire & Kinross

Updated: Aug 21, 2019

Tuesday 6 August 6.00-8.30 pm, Cardney Estate, PH8 0EY.

For our August Women's Enterprise Meeting we are bringing together the Kinross, Strathearn, Eastern and Highland Perthshire networks. The event will take place at Cardney Steading near Dunkeld, a traditionally rustic yet modern venue.

The GrowBiz Women's Enterprise Networks are designed to support women starting, running or growing a business in rural Perthshire and Kinross or even for those who are thinking about it. For our summer meeting, we are delighted to have as our speaker Kate Hooper, co-founder and co-director of StrategyStory, an international business based in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland.

StrategyStory aims to bring fresh life into strategy for organisations, community and business development. Modern storytelling is at the heart of the business to help give voice to people when it really matters to get those strategies working.

Kate was a BBC senior producer/producer, and has led content and communication teams in the public and academic sectors as well as two creative industry networks. She has worked extensively across online, broadcast and print media.

Kate will share her own personal story of her career and the journey of building her business, StrategyStory. She will also talk about the power of story and why it matters to rural businesses - two themes that are central to StrategyStory.

This is a free event and will start with a light buffet catering and time to meet and network with other like-minded women and some of the GrowBiz team.
