Updated: Apr 28, 2019

Thursday 9th May 2019, 6pm - 8.30pm

Erigmore, Birnam, Dunkeld, PH8 0BJ

The Women's Enterprise Network is designed to support women starting, running or growing a business in rural Perthshire or even for those who are thinking about it. It's a free event and will start with a light buffet, followed by an informal chance to meet other like-minded women and hear from our speaker Brenda Roddy.

Originally from Derry Northern Ireland, Brenda settled in Scotland 30 years ago and has spent most of that time working in the environmental sector. After a glamorous career working with landfill companies, charities and a few local authorities as the 'corporate nag' on all things green seven years ago Brenda moved to Birnam with her partner Dot to set up Jessie Mac's"the best small green hostel in Scotland". As well as helping to develop and run the business, she chaired the local tourism association for 3 years and continues to work on climate change and active travel for Angus Council as is also an Enterprise Facilitator with GrowBiz.
