Destination & Sector Marketing Fund: The objective of this fund is to encourage destination and sector groups to collaborate to develop strong visitor propositions that are reflective of identified post-COVID-19 trends. The Fund is part of a wider Scottish Government support package linked to the Tourism Task Force Recovery plan and is being delivered by VisitScotland. It is open to applications from destination and sectoral groups across Scotland and will operate across three tiers. Opens for applications, find out more here.
Paths for All Smarter Choices, Smarter Places Open Fund: The Fund is available to support public, third and community sector organisations to encourage people to use buses and community car clubs for longer journeys; walking and cycling for short journeys, and home-working to replace daily commutes. It aims to help cut Scotland's carbon emissions and improve our air quality. It will also help reverse the trend towards sedentary lifestyles and will tackle health inequalities. Grants available are between £5000 and £50,000 and need to be match funded. Find out more here.
Nature of Scotland Awards: RSPB Scotland and NatureScot are accepting applications and nominations for these awards until Tuesday 14 June from business, public sector organisations, research institutions, community groups and individuals who have been active in nature conservation across Scotland.
