The Engine Exchange Programme is a European LEADER funded programme between Småland in Sweden and a partnership between Angus, Perth and Kinross and Fife Council areas in Scotland. There’s a great opportunity for at least five young people aged between 18 and 25 from rural Perthshire to take part in an inspiring, fully-funded programme – which includes a visit to Sweden.

The aims of the project include strengthening entrepreneurship and activism in the participating rural areas.
The young people - from both Sweden and Scotland – will take part in an exchange which will last for 10 days and will see participants taking part in a personal development programme, cultural activities and an appropriate work placement for approximately 5 days.
Our summer intern in 2017, Gemma Matthews was lucky to be given the opportunity to go have a place Programme, which went to Finland that year, and found it an inspiring experience.
