The Alba Vital Scan Project

It’s a sad fact that one in five of Covid 19 patients are healthcare workers. Alba Medical Sciences, based in Blairgowrie, are asking for help to raise funds for The Alba Vital Scan project which is designed to reduce the risk to NHS staff and offers a new methodology for use across the healthcare sector. This is an especially important project given the recent news that the Covid crisis could last longer than predicted. The project will research and apply the latest mix of optical sensor technology to measure an individual’s vital signs without physical contact. Please consider supporting this important research trial. Find out more here, or make a donation here.

Keeping Heartland FM Alive

Heartland FM is a charity using multimedia platforms to entertain, inform and engage within Highland Perthshire. Due to a significant drop in advertising revenue caused by COVID-19, they need to raise £25,000 by the 14th of January 2021 for running costs, including transmission fees, broadcast licenses and fees. To do this they are running a Crowdfunding campaign — you can support their creativity and local entertainment here.
