We are wishing all the best to the many businesses that reopened this week and hoping for a great summer season to help you get back on track. In this blog we are sharing some of the latest guidance to support you to do so safely, some further information on the SEISS and a few other opportunities and updates.
Level 3 Changes to COVID-19 Restrictions: Monday marked a significant easing of restrictions for many businesses, including non-essential retail, hospitality venues, indoor attractions and close contact services. Some updated guidance for the latter has been published, including a downloadable checklist. There’s also a self-assessment tool here that can be used by all businesses to assess the effectiveness of current safety measures.
The Scottish Government has made reopening assets available, such as leaflets and posters, to help workplaces communicate safety advice, which you can find using this dropbox link. You can also find a ‘Ventilation Advice for Everyone at Work’ sheet here.

Please also be aware of a scam targeting the Self-Employment Income Support Scheme. It requests personal info, such as from a passport or driving licence, to obtain an ‘SEISS tax refund’. This is a scam – delete the message. For how to spot scams click here.
