Kelly McIntyre is a Blairgowrie-based photographer and videographer with over 10 years’experience.
After completing her studies in photography and television production, Kelly worked with her business partner at Keithbank Photography, producing several projects for Perth and Kinross Council, RBS, the Perth and Kinross Association of Volunteer Services (PKAVS) and many more.
Kelly first contacted GrowBiz several years ago looking to expand the business and was delighted with the support she received. She said: "The enterprise coordinator at GrowBiz was very helpful and put us in contact with people who could help us with marketing and social media, which resulted in us gaining new clients."
Since then, Kelly has ventured out on her own, setting up Kelly McIntyre Photography and Video Production, based in the Create@Nest studios in the east Perthshire town. She works mostly with charities, small businesses, voluntary organisations and the local council. Her passion is photographing people, whether commercially for business, conferences and events, or social occasions such as weddings, and she says that working with local people and outdoors in rural Perthshire are some of the best aspects of the job.
Kelly has attended GrowBiz events on a wide variety of subjects, everything from presenting yourself with confidence to social media and data protection regulation, and finds the friendliness of the Women’s Enterprise Network particularly appealing, forming good working relationships with other local businesswomen as a result.
She said: "I have worked with a variety of people who have used GrowBiz services and there’s something for everyone who wants to start, grow and help others with their enterprise."
