Care and Wellbeing Community Peer Support Session, Online
Time & Location
About the Event
We invite you to join us for this informative and interactive peer support session, where as well as the invaluable networking and discussion, you’ll have the opportunity hear from a fantastic and diverse group of our members from the Strathearn area, who tried something new in 2020.
Our discussion topic this month is ‘Collaboration’. We'll chat with members of Strathearn Living Well, a group of people living and working in the Strathearn area, who came together to collaborate and offer services that promote wellbeing at the start of the pandemic in early 2020. We’ll hear about their challenges, their experiences in sharing their skills online, what they have learned through working together and what they feel the real benefits of collaboration have been.
They will also tell us more about a range of workshops they are delivering in the coming weeks, which will be open to CiC members to join. More to follow on those in our newsletter – out on Wednesday!
Given that we’re still experiencing restrictions in how we deliver services, we'd like to help you to start to think about how you might collaborate with others to enhance what you offer and support each other along the way. Are there services you can jointly offer for clients? Could you come together to create a project and apply for funding? Would you welcome the chance to chat with others on a regular basis?
Why not take some time out of your day, grab a cuppa and join in our conversation? We are limited to 20 participants for this zoom session and it is open to Care and Wellbeing CiC members and non-members who interested coming along.
